A Partial History of the CSUDH Women⁺s Resource Center

1972-73学年，妇女教育中心(women 's Educational center)首次在校园内设立了妇女中心, though there is very limited information on this center.

After the Women’s Educational Center folded, 1974年4月下旬，一个新的妇女中心在校园内成立. 它被安置在NSM B224，举办了各种各样的节目, ranging from consciousness-raising groups, talks on women in politics, and an anti-rape group. In 1984 and 1985, the Women’s Center sponsored a number of events, beginning with a conference in March 1984, “Focus on Black Women,” coordinated by Joan Crear, a Women’s Center student intern.
